THIS IS A CHANCE FOR KIDS TO BLOW BUBBLES BY SCUBA DIVING AND HAVE LOTS OF FUN UNDER THE DIRECT CARE OF A PADI PRO.

 

WHAT THEY WILL LEARN:

  • Take their first breaths underwater in water less than 2 meters/6 feet. 

  • Learn about and use scuba diving equipment made for children.

  • Have lots of fun.

WHAT THEY WILL NEED:

  • Size appropriate mask, snorkel, and fins

  • Swim apparel and towel

  • Parent/Guardian must be on site

THE PADI SEAL TEAM IS FOR YOUNG DIVERS LOOKING FOR ACTION-PACKED FUN.  DIVERS COMPLETE EXCITING AQUAMISSIONS IN A POOL.

​Divers learn basic scuba skills and then take on specialty AquaMissions.

These missions include; wreck diving, navigation, buoyancy, environmental awareness, and more.

PADI Seal Team includes doing some cool stuff in the pool, meeting friends, and sharing in the adventure of the underwater world.

WHAT THEY WILL LEARN:

The PADI Seal Team program teaches responsibility and respect for the aquatic realm. It's broken into two parts.

Seal team scuba

PART 1: AquaMissions  1-5 You will learn basic scuba diving skills, such as breathing underwater, recovering a regulator, clearing a mask of water, and experiencing weightlessness. Each session takes an hour. Completing these AquaMissions qualifies you as a PADI Seal Team Member and may count towards the PADI Open Water Diver course when you meet the age requirements.

PART 2 -10 SPECIALTY AQUA MISSIONS offer adventures like identifying sea creatures, search and recovery diving, and skin diving. Completing them all makes young divers PADI Master Seal Team Members. They'll need a mask, snorkel, fins, swimwear, and a towel.

PADI JUNIOR OPEN WATER DIVER

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- Understanding and using scuba diving equipment

- Acquiring basic scuba diving skills

- Managing buoyancy

- Building confidence and improving skills

 

The learners will practice in a pool until they are comfortable with mini dives. After that, they will complete the course by doing four dives in open water, accompanied by a PADI instructor.

PADI's Junior Open Water Diver program trains young people to become PADI certified scuba divers. The program is 4-7 days long and costs $425, including E-learning materials.

 

To enroll, kids must be at least 10 years old and have basic swimming skills. Age restrictions apply: 10-11-year-olds must dive with a certified adult and not exceed 40 ft, while 12-year-olds must dive with an adult and not exceed 60 ft.

 

Younger divers can continue their certification journey with the Junior Advanced Open Water Diver, Junior Rescue Diver, and Junior Master Scuba Diver programs. Once they turn 15, the restrictions are lifted, and they can order a new card to reflect their Open Water status.

WHAT THEY WILL NEED:

Scuba quality mask, snorkel, fins, dive boots, surface marker buoy (SMB)

WE WILL PROVIDE:

Buoyancy compensator (BC), Regulator, Dive Computer, Tans & amp, all air fills during training.
